The ever popular Summer Nights Sleepovers are back!  Starting at 6 p.m., you can enjoy live music and wine tasting.  The doors close at 8 p.m., allowing you to explore the Aquarium without daytime crowds.  See the new Jellies Experience, visit the updated Ocean Travelers exhibit, and enjoy special programs and a bedtime snack. The evening ends with a late-night nature movie before you go to sleep in front of your favorite exhibit.  Wake up with the fishes and enjoy a continental breakfast.

C. 45th Annual Monterey Scottish Games & Celtic Festival, July 7 & 8

For two glorious days, everyone’s Scottish and Irish in Monterey!  Events at the Monterey County Fairground include athletics, children’s activities, and gatherings of clans, highland dancing and traditional music, whiskey tastings, historical re-enactments and sheep dog demonstrations.  And, of course, there will be plenty of food and vendors on hand.
Remember to double check dates and times for all events and please book in advance to avoid disappointments and tantrums.  And if you have friends visiting Monterey for the summer, Believe Inn Monterey and Carmel Hill Lodge are great places for them to stay.   Call us on 831-373-3252 or 1-888-551-4455 and we’ll be happy to make reservations.
